The Ulster Farmers’ Union has recently teamed up with John McCullagh to offer members fantastic savings on electrical products. Based on a farm in North East Armagh, John’s business has been in operation for over 20 years serving the local farming and automotive community.
Launching the new affinity deal UFU deputy president, Ivor Ferguson said: “We are delighted to have teamed up with John McCullagh. His business offers farmers across the province a choice of high end products at reasonable prices. Over the years John has established a strong affinity with farmers and agricultural communities and through UFU membership farmers can make substantial savings on a range of products.”
Through the new affinity deal members can avail of the following savings:
20% discount on starter and alternator repairs
25% discount on “service exchange” starters and alternators
25% discount on new starters and alternators
25% discount on batteries
35% discount on LED lighting
35% discount on the Durite range
Commenting on the new affinity deal John said: “I am looking forward to working with fellow farmers and rural businesses. I hope I can offer valuable discounts to UFU members following what was for many a tough year for farm finances.” All John’s products are OEM specification and he currently supplies agricultural machinery parts to wholesalers, which are in turn sold on to dealers before again being sold to the farmer. “It’s not hard to work out the benefits of by-passing the middle man and cutting the cost from that part of that supply chain,” John added.
Products purchased through the affinity deal can be delivered to anywhere in Northern Ireland; however this will incur an additional cost. If alternatively you would prefer to collect your product John is happy to accommodate out of hours collection from his business site located in Portadown.
