Gleno Valley Young Farmers’ Club annual beef show and sale will be held at Ballymena Livestock Market on Thursday 30th November.

The sponsors have again been more than generous supporting organisers in this event, donating towards a grand total on offer to be won throughout the classes.

These sponsors consist of Norbrook Laboratories, Fane Valley, Newport Collection, Moore Concrete, Clare Vet Group, Agri Lloyd, Danske Bank, D J McKee and Sons, Ballinaskeagh Grains, Bank of Ireland and Jacksons Butchers.

The classes consist of Butchers best less than 580kg, British Blues, Charolais, Limousin, Blonde d’Aquitaine, Native Breed, any other breed and YFC class (all animals in breed classes can be of any weight).

Judging begins at 1pm followed by the sale at 7pm sharp.

All entry forms can be collected from the office at Ballymena Livestock Market or from the mart’s website online.

Following the sale, a charity auction in aid of Childrens Heartbeat Trust will take place.

This year Gleno Valley YFC have teamed up with Ballymena Livestock Market to try to raise a significant figure.

The money raised from the auction will be combined with all entry fees and commission collected throughout the day.

The total money raised will be combined with Markethill’s auction to make a grand total which will be collectively donated to Children’s Heartbeat Trust.
