A weekly throughput of 1280 at Markethill included an entry of 840 cattle on Saturday 21st October.

Heifers

The 270 heifers maintained a very firm demand with good quality forward feeding heifers from £250 to £296 for 580k at £1715 from a Loughgall farmer followed by £293 for 572k at £1675 from a Scarva farmer.

Beef heifers sold to £290 for 646k at £1875 from a Scarva farmer and for 640k at £1855 from a Loughgall farmer.
