Today’s selection of old farming photographs from the Farming Life/News Letter archives takes us to the RUAS Spring Show at Balmoral in 1982.
It was a busy day at Balmoral with the main interest centring on the sale of British Friesians.
The top price of the day was paid to Dungannon breeder Ronald McLean for his Friesian bull Relough Creative. H Calderwood and Son from Dungannon paid 2,100 guineas for the animal.
