Working Vintage Festival at Greyabbey

The event will have all the usual activities and exhibits on the day.

In the main rally field there will be large displays of vintage tractors, steam engines, vintage cars and motor cycles, vintage lorries, stationary engines, implements, craft tents, models, trade stands, food outlets, autojumble, amusements, live music and dancing, and much more for all the family.

There will also be special features celebrating anniversaries for Ferguson and Zetor tractors.

In the working area there will be the harvesting and threshing of oats, baling, ploughing, tractor pulling, mini tractors, along with the ever popular “pick your own” potatoes.

An added attraction this year is that amongst the classic tractors ploughing in the larger of the two working fields, organisers plan to have three County 1884s - they believe this will be the first time that has happened.

On the preceeding Friday night there will be the now famous road run (with 200 plus tractors). This is an excellent spectacle and visitors may be able to get a seat on one of the trailers. This is followed by the usual barbeque with live music. Again visitors can bring their own food to cook on the barbecues provided.
