Perth-based Bell Ingram is supporting the Udny Juniors Agricultural Club (JAC) with a generous donation of £700, which it has put towards the brand new rugby tops.

The team competes in young farmer events around the local area, ranging from physical challenges such as tug of war and ‘Bubble Football’ to more low key activities like baking and sewing.

The donation comes at a welcome time for JAC as the club celebrates its 90th anniversary next year – a momentous occasion for everyone involved.

Michelle Stephen, Press Secretary for JAC and Assistant Land Agent with Bell Ingram’s Aberdeen office is grateful for her employer’s kind support of her team.

She said: “We like to update our shirts every few years to give new members a chance to have one. They help give the team a real sense of identity and bring us together as a group, which is very important.

“It’s great being part of the club as it’s very social. Everyone chips in and adds value so it’s a really fun place to be.

“The sponsorship has really helped the club financially, as it allows us to enable the cost for current members. We went through a drop in the number of members at one stage but we have now been able to recoup this and pull it back to a sustainable level.
