Craigavon Food Bank receives a £2k donation from Home Bargains store

The new store, which will create 46 new jobs, opened at Marlborough Retail Park on Saturday.
The firm donated £2k to Craigavon Area Foodbank which provides three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to the charity in crisis.

Hide AdDaniel Jackson, the new Craigavon store manager, said: “Having worked for Home Bargains for 8 years – starting out at a sales assistant – I can honestly say opening the new Marlborough Retail Park store is one of the highlights of my career.”


A spokesperson from Craigavon Area Foodbank said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been chosen by the staff at Home Bargains to receive this generous donation! These are difficult times for so many people, and this will be a great help to us as we continue to provide emergency food for those who need some temporary support.”
