First ever Harry Ferguson Heritage Festival announced for Ferguson Farmstead
Organisers have announced the first ever Harry Ferguson Heritage Festival, which will take place on Saturday, 15th August 2026 at the Ferguson Farmstead near Annahilt, celebrating the life, innovation and global legacy of Harry Ferguson at the very place where his remarkable story began.
The event promises to be a major family day out and will bring together tractor enthusiasts, families and visitors from across Northern Ireland and beyond for a celebration of engineering, agriculture and rural heritage.

A packed programme of attractions is planned, including live tractor displays, a dedicated working tractor and ploughing area for tractors up to 60hp, children’s entertainment, live music, stalls, hot food, ice cream and a wide range of family activities throughout the day.
Organisers are also encouraging owners of vintage Ferguson and Massey Ferguson tractors to attend, with special recognition planned for the anniversaries of Ferguson Brown, TE20, FE35, MF500, 300 Series and 3000 Series tractors.
A spokesperson for the festival said: “This is about celebrating the extraordinary legacy of Harry Ferguson at the place where it all started. We want this to become a flagship event which recognises not only Harry Ferguson’s contribution to agriculture and engineering, but also the rich rural heritage connected to the Ferguson story.
“We are creating an event which will appeal to all ages — whether you are passionate about vintage machinery, interested in local history, or simply looking for a fantastic family day out.
“We would encourage people to save the date, spread the word and come along to help make this the biggest event ever held at the Ferguson Farmstead.”
The Harry Ferguson Heritage Festival will run from 10.30am to 4.30pm on Saturday 15th August 2026 at the Ferguson Homestead, Magheraconluce Rd, Annahilt BT25 1EE.
