Four-day trip to Germany planned for Fleckvieh fans
Organised by Bayern Genetik’s UK and Ireland agent David Hazelton, the annual trip departs Dublin Airport on Wednesday 14th September and returns on Saturday 17th September.
“The itinerary includes visits to several pedigree Fleckvieh herds in Bavaria, and a large agricultural show in Munich. It promises to be a very enjoyable trip.”

Top selling Fleckvieh sires such as Remut, Ilja and Walfried will be among the bulls on display at the Bayern Genetik Stud - the largest AI stud in Europe.

The Fleckvieh is a breed of dual-purpose cattle suitable for both milk and meat production. It originated in Central Europe in the 19th century from cross-breeding of local stock with Simmental cattle.
