Plumbridge Livestock Sales Ltd raise nearly £16,000 for charity
The strength and generosity of the local farming community was once again on display as Plumbridge Livestock Sales Ltd proudly raised nearly £16,000 at last year’s Annual Christmas Charity Auction.
The event — a long-standing highlight in the local farming calendar — saw £13,938 donated to Macmillan Cancer Support, along with £2,000 for the Digg 4 Kids campaign, supported through Edel Conway. These funds were raised through the generosity of farmers, buyers, sellers, and local businesses who contributed livestock, goods, vouchers, and prizes.

This year’s Annual Christmas Charity Auction will take place on Thursday 18th December at 1pm, and Plumbridge Livestock Sales Ltd hopes the community will once again come together in support of two very special local causes.
Fundraising this year will focus on Friends of Arvalee School & Resource Centre and Knockavoe School & Resource Centre.

Both schools provide exceptional support to children and young people with additional needs, and the company is proud to play a part in helping their vital work continue.
Anyone who would like to donate items, vouchers, hampers, goods, services, or livestock for the charity auction is warmly encouraged to get in touch. Every contribution — big or small — helps make a meaningful difference to these local causes.
Plumbridge Livestock Sales Ltd extends heartfelt thanks to its dedicated staff and the loyal farming families, buyers, and sellers who support the auction year after year. Their generosity continues to highlight the best of the local agricultural community.
The auction will take place live at the mart on Thursday, 18th December at 1pm but there will be the option to bid live online also through the Marteye App.
