The recent C&M Tumilty In-Calf Heifer Sale, now firmly established as the premier in-calf heifer sale in the country, once again set a remarkable benchmark, with a stunning Belgium Blue heifer fetching an impressive £15,800.
The atmosphere at Markethill Mart on 22nd October 2026, was electric, with a full ringside of buyers from across the UK and Ireland, alongside record online viewers via MartEye tuning in for what has become one of the most highly anticipated annual events on the farming calendar.
The sale achieved a remarkable 100% clearance rate with an average of £8500, underscoring the exceptional quality of the stock on offer. Alongside the record-breaking heifer, leading prices included £15,600, £14,000, £11,200, £11,000, £10,400, £10,200 and £10,000.
The top ten heifers averaged an outstanding £13,740.
