A celebration of craft and creativity as Knit + Stitch returns to NI this autumn
There’s “sew” much to discover as the UK’s largest craft show returns to Northern Ireland this autumn, bringing together a vibrant community of makers, artists and enthusiasts.
Knit + Stitch is back at the Eikon Exhibition Centre, outside Lisburn, from November 12–15, and will, once again, be bursting at the seams with creativity and innovation.
Craft fans are in for a real treat with over 100 textile craft brands and a packed line-up of more than 150 hands-on workshops in partnership with Janome, plus stunning curated textile art galleries.
It’s the perfect opportunity to meet up with like-minded crafters, discuss ideas, learn new skills, find inspiration and shop for your annual craft supplies, including wool, fabric and beyond, from big brands and specialist suppliers – all under one roof.

Knit + Stitch event manager, Fatima Naqvi, said organisers are determined to make this year’s event bigger and better than ever.
She’s encouraging visitors to come along, support local makers and discover unique handmade treasures.
She said: “Last year’s show was a superb success, and the warmth and enthusiasm we received from both visitors and exhibitors confirmed to us that we had to bring Knit + Stitch back to Northern Ireland again this year.
“Whether you’re an expert maker or just a beginner, we can't wait to welcome everyone back to the Eikon Exhibition Centre in November.

“With our Knit Lounge and Yarn Village there are lots of opportunities for local companies to get involved and, with more than 100 exhibitors and over 150 workshops, there really is a busy programme this year – and something for everyone.”
Shoppers can stock up on everything they need for their next big craft project, from gorgeous yarn, fabric and thread, to sewing machines, patterns, embroidery supplies and cross-stitch kits.
Crafters will be thrilled to see the return of popular exhibitors from England, including Brian’s Best Wools, The Black Sheep, Italian Buttons, Jewellness Craft, Roy’s Material World, and many more!
The workshop programme is not-to-be-missed, led by some of the UK’s most skilled textile crafters and designed to inspire makers at every level, from absolute beginners to seasoned experts.
Now in its second year at the Eikon Exhibition Centre, visitors can expect a great day out with easy access from both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, free on-site parking, a free shuttle bus service from Lisburn train station and modern catering facilities with a variety of options and plenty of seating.
Amongst the highlights at this year’s show will be the Textile Art Galleries, showcasing inspiring work from artists across the UK and Ireland.
The galleries feature work by Amanda Vencatasamy, Derry Factory Girls Quilts, Wild Art Textiles: Riptides and the Belfast School of Art Graduate Showcase.
Meanwhile, over 500 quilts will be on display in the Logan Hall as part of The Fantastic World of Insects, an eye-catching exhibition organised by the EQA, and brought to the show by the Irish Patchwork Society.
Don’t miss the Prima Live Stage, where talks, demos and catwalk shows will take place with well-known sewing personalities and knitting experts.
The Knit Lounge, which is once again being hosted by Inspiring Yarns, will provide an opportunity to explore new products and learn the basics from experts.
Then, there’s the ever popular ‘Made by Me’ Dressmaking Competition, which invites makers to showcase garments they’ve created themselves, with shortlisted entries displayed and featured on the catwalk at Knit + Stitch NI 2026. The winning dress will receive a sewing machine worth £879 provided by competition sponsor, Janome.
