Bullocks selling to a top price of £1,540 at £2.87 per kg at Swatragh Mart

Bullocks sold to a top price of £1,540 at £2.87 per kg for a 536kg Charolais and to a top of £3.38 per kilo for a 266kg Charolais at £900.

Heifers sold to a top price of £1,450 at £2.39 per kg for a 606kg Limousin and to a top of £3.25 per kilo for a 314kg Charolais at £1,020.

Fat cows were also an outstanding trade topping at £2.11 per kilo for a 578kg Belgian Blue at £1,220.

A lot more stock required to meet demand with a large number of buyers attending both at ringside and online

Lambs to £126. Fat ewes to £148.

Another full yard of over 1,900 sheep were presented for sale at Swatragh Livestock Mart on Saturday 21st October.

600 cull ewes were offered for sale and were a steady trade topping at £148.00.

1,270 lambs were presented for sale, which was also met with a steady trade.

Lambs topped at £126.00 for heavy sorts.

There was also a significant number of store lamb buyers at ringside and online which created a superb trade yet again.
