Bullocks selling to a top price of £1,800 at £2.74 per kg at Swatragh Mart

Bullocks sold to a top price of £1,800 at £2.74 per kg for a 656kg Belgian Blue and to a top of £3.51 per kilo for a 328kg Limousin at £1,150.

Heifers sold to a top price of £1,630 at £2.90 per kg for a 562kg Char and to a top of £3.15 per kilo for a 394kg Limousin at £1,240.

Fat cows also sold to a very good trade topping at £2.13 per kg for a 606kg Limousin at £1,290.

A lot more stock required to meet demand with a large number of buyers attending both at ringside and online

Another strong show of 1,350 sheep were presented for sale at Swatragh Livestock Mart on Saturday 3rd February.

250 cull ewes were offered for sale and were under keen demand topping at £187.00.

1,050 lambs were presented for sale, which was also met with a keen trade.

Lambs topped at £143.50 for heavy sorts.

There was a great ring of buyers at ringside requiring more sheep across all categories.
