Bullocks sold to 492p/kg for a Limousin at 382kg (£1880) and to a top of £2850 per head for a Limousin at 770kg (370p/kg).

Heifers sold to 438p/kg for a Limousin at 304kg (£1330) and to a top of £2290 per head for a Charolais at 596kg (384p/kg).

Fat cows sold to 338p/kg for a Limousin at 790kg and to a top of £2670 per head for the same cow.

Weekly sheep sale

Saturday 17th January saw an entry of 1700 sheep at Swatragh which met a great ewe trade and a good lamb trade with 1050 lambs and 650 fat ewes and rams entered.

Fat Ewes to a top of £252 and Rams to £186 with numerous lots making great prices.

Lambs over 21kg sold to a top of £156 for 1 lamb at 48kg and to a top of 590p/kg for 8 lambs at 21kg into £124.

Lambs under 21kg sold to a top of £120.50 for 6 lambs at 20kg and to a top of 617p/kg for 4 lambs at 17.5kg into £108.
