Complete your entitlement transfers by 4 May 2020
The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) has reminded farmers that the deadline to complete a transfer of entitlements for the 2020 Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) is 4 May 2020.
A DAERA spokesperson said: “To date, over 3,000 entitlement transfers for the 2020 scheme year have bene completed by farm businesses, an increase of 19% compared to 2019.

“We would urge those farmers who need to complete an entitlement transfer, to please do so by the closing date of 4 May 2020, otherwise the entitlements will not take effect until the 2021 scheme year.”
