Held on the last night of January 2020 dancing made easy by the music of Michael Mawhinney was followed by a light supper ensuring a great time was enjoyed in a good cause.

As an elated Alistair explained income from the event is being boosted by on line just giving donations at www.justgiving.com/fundraising/alistair-sampson

“Plus we still have donations arriving by post and at our door as the rural community show their generosity.

“We must pay tribute to the tremendous support Lorraine and I have enjoyed from our family, great team of helpers, friends, the people of Castledawson and wider rural community.

“Donations will be accepted until Friday, February 28 when the proceeds will be presented to the Charis Cancer Care team at Lough Fea near Cookstown.”

By fund raising the Sampson family hope this dance reminds us all that any changes in our body must be checked out promptly by a GP. Being ‘too busy’ is no excuse for being merely stupid and putting off seeing your Doctor!

Donations until Friday, February 28 can be made directly to the organisers, tel 07860 626 442. or through www.justgiving.com/fundraising/alistair-sampson
