Weanling sale Tuesday 30th March 2021: There was a smaller entry of weanlings this week at Raphoe Mart with trade very lively for all types.

Continental types sold from €2.30/kg to €2.80/kg.

Aberdeen Angus cross types sold from €1.90/kg to €2.30/kg.

Cattle sale Thursday 1st April 2021: There was a good show and a super trade at Raphoe Mart this week.

All stock on offer met a very lively trade with almost a 100% clearance.

Strong forward store cattle in great demand selling from €2.20/kg to €2.60/kg including Aberdeen Angus cross cattle.

Lighter weights also sold to a great trade with plainer lots selling from €2.20/kg and quality lots selling up to €2.80/kg.

Fat cows sold to a top of €2010 for a 2015 born 900 kg fat cow.

Bulls/bullocks sold from €2.20/kg to €2.80/kg.

Heifers sold from €2.20/kg to €2.90/kg.

Fat cows sold from €670/head to €2010/head.
