The weather throughout the day varied from sunshine to heavy blustery showers and wind but, despite this, the spectators were treated to a great day of racing and all horses returned home safe.

Thanks goes to those who entered their horses, to those who ran their horses, the sponsors, the hunt members and volunteers for their work setting up and clearing down as well as on race day, the vets, doctors and medical staff on the day, Mr Ian McMaw whose land was used, and the public who attended the races as, without this support, this event would not be possible.

Thanks also go to the farmers and landowners whose land is crossed during hunting season. The hunt members look forward to the approaching new season as well as another great day of racing at the spring point to point in March 2027.

For anyone wishing to support the next point to point through sponsorship or by helping with the preparation of the event, please contact Hazel Kelly, the point to point secretary, on 0775 956 3183 for further details.
