Last call for farmers to have their say on AgriSearch research priorities

AgriSearch has issued a final call for farmers to express their views on the future priorities for research and development and knowledge exchange work.

Farmers can take part via an online survey before 23rd June which can be accessed on the AgriSearch website www.agrisearch.org

The survey is part of a strategic review and the results will inform the research and development activities which AgriSearch will undertake over the next five to 10 years. Other stakeholders including farming bodies, food processors, consumer groups and others will also be consulted.

Chairman of AgriSearch, Seamus McCaffrey said: “We are at an important juncture for food production in this country. We‘d like to hear from many farmers as possible on the main challenges facing farming and food so that AgriSearch can continue to use its limited research resources to best effect.”
