Man dies following motorcycle collision

Police have confirmed a motorcyclist, believed to be in his 30s, has died following a collision on the Portaferry Road, Newtownards, yesterday evening (Thursday).

The man was riding a Honda motorcycle which collided with a wall shortly before 7pm.

Officers from the Collision Investigation Unit are asking witnesses and anyone who may have captured dash cam footage to get in touch by calling 101, quoting reference 1568 28/07/22.
