“Since stepping up to the Acting CEO role in November Andrew has done an excellent job and played a key role in working with our partners for the recently announced government support for Northern Ireland sheep farmers,” said Chairman, Brendan Kelly.

“The Board look forward to working with Andrew, ensuring we continue to represent the best interests of our producers and in maximising the value of their wool.”

Mr Hogley commented: “I am honoured to have been appointed to the role and am very much looking forward to leading the business into the new season as we continue to recover from the after effects of the pandemic.”

A graduate of Trinity College, Cambridge and a Chartered Financial Analyst, Andrew worked in the city as an equity research analyst for 16 years prior to becoming Director of Wool Sales & Producer Services at Ulster Wool.
