NICC Virtual Suckler Herd of the Year Competition 2020

The Northern Ireland Charolais Club is very proud to introduce the “NI Suckler Herd of the year 2020 competition”, in partnership with sponsors Nugent Engineering, Northern Counties Co-Op Ltd, Topstock, F.S Heron, SAFE and Bank of Ireland.

The club has launched the competition to promote the best and most sustainable suckler herds in Northern Ireland with all entrants producing Charolais commercial calves.

The top three herds from each county will be selected to go forward to the grand final and the overall winner will receive a £1000 voucher (valid for up to three years) to purchase an animal of the their choice at an official NICC sale and each of the county winners will receive a £200 voucher.

To enter the competition, please send a short video, to a maximum of five minutes long, showing your cows and this year’s crop of calves via WhatsApp to Jeremy on 07761 930534 or Sandra on 07751 410032 or via messenger to the NI Charolais club Facebook page. Please get your entries in before the closing date on Friday 4th September 2020.
