The retail brands have a long-standing partnership with local NI charity, Action Cancer and are calling on their customers to get behind their latest fundraising drive during what has been a difficult time for charities.

Desi Derby, Marketing Director at Musgrave NI said: “It has been a challenging year for everyone, and although social gatherings will be significantly reduced, we know consumers will be excited for Halloween and will relish the opportunity to decorate their home and celebrate with their family.

“The support over the years from our fantastic retailers has kept the Action Cancer Big Bus on the road and importantly, has helped with the crucial early detection of cancer among many women across Northern Ireland. This year, the charity needs our support more than ever and hopefully, with the help of our customers purchasing a pumpkin in store, we will raise some much-needed funds.”

Gareth Kirk, CEO of Action Cancer said: “I’m pleased to announce that all of Actions Cancer services, including breast screening at Action Cancer House and the Big Bus are back up and running, which is fantastic news.

“Due to the pandemic we have had to put in place new procedures and protocols and to make a number of changes as to how our services are delivered, but what hasn’t changed is the impact and difference our services genuinely make in delivering on our mission of “saving lives and supporting people living with cancer in Northern Ireland.”
