The venue is Springwell Road, Bangor, at 10.30am.

This match is supported by The Ploughing Academy for Northern Ireland and promises to be a great day out after the long lay off.

Next up on Sunday, August 30, Kircubbin, Portaferry and District Ploughing Society hold their first match for a few years on the same ground. They are also supported by The Ploughing Academy for Northern Ireland.

Ploughing matches are a familiar sight around the country from now until April but two matches on one weekend is something new and these three societies are working together, pooling their resources while holding onto their separate identities.

The Society of Ploughmen Northern Ireland asks everyone to comply with Covid 19 regulations.
