This prestigious competition, sees clubs compete in six different stages including; club accounts, membership, participation, retention and recruitment of members, community work and best impact of club management.

Commenting on the competition, Amy Bennington, Power NI’s commercial marketing manager said: “It’s great to return as sponsor of Club of the Year and at Power NI, we’re delighted to continue our support of such a popular and influential competition in the YFCU calendar. This past year has been very different for all of us, but it’s important to continue to recognise and celebrate those clubs who are overcoming the challenges of group activity in a socially distant world. Well done to all those thinking outside the box, and good luck to all clubs taking part.”

Meanwhile, Zita McNaugher, YFCU president, said: “We as an organisation are thrilled that Power NI continues to show its commitment and support to the YFCU. This year hasn’t started out exactly how we had planned, however, clubs have adapted and developed in order to allow their members to meet and the organisation to continue. I am extremely excited to see the development of this heavily contested competition.”

The final will be announced at next year’s AGM – details to be confirmed.
