Taking a stroll around the coastal path at the historic village of Kearney on the Ards Peninsula

Last weekend Farming Life was up nice and early on what was a lovely spring morning to take a trip down the Ards Peninsula to the historic village of Kearney.

Sitting on the southern tip of the famous Ards Peninsula, Kearney is a picturesque fishing village full of unspoilt, timeless character.

On this short coastal walk from the village car park, look out for quaint, whitewashed cottages and an abundance of wildlife, from oystercatchers, rock pipits and shelducks, to winter waders and turnstones.

We also got to spot the Highland cows that are grazing on the shoreline, although the were a little elusive.

We will have a couple more videos from Kearney that we will be posting throughout this week.
