A farmer from Saintfield, Co. Down decided in the midst of the pandemic to dust down his precious vintage Ford 5000 tractor and carry out some early spring sowing.

"It's a bit noisy in here, I have the vintage 5000 here," shouts the farmer from inside the cabin.

"She's sowing the fertiliser here.

"I just thought it was a good day, the sun is out, says I if the sun is out get the 5000 out.

"There's nothing like a two wheel drive, 800kg and a 20-10-10 on behind her.

"Long live the Ford," the happy farmer says before the recording ends.

The video was sent into us by a friend of the farmer.

"Some light hearted crack from an excited farmer up in Saintfeild, getting the tractor out for spring sowing," said John Faloon.

"He sent me this video and had me in stitches - thought you guys might like it to share."
