Winners of floral art final announced

The YFCU’s floral art final which normally takes place at Balmoral Show took place this year via the online platform Zoom.

Earlier on in the year over 400 competitors took part in the floral art heats so making it through to the finals is a remarkable achievement.

The format for the competition was similar to the regular competition as members were given one hour to complete their display.

The display was then blind judged by two national judges.

The theme for this year’s final was ‘90 Glorious Years’ to mark the association’s anniversary.

Members showcased their artistic abilities through creating everything from champagne flutes to YFCU memory boxes.
