Woman due in court after £250k seizure of drugs, cash and counterfiet products

Police have charged a 30-year-old woman with two counts of possession of a Class A controlled drug with intent to supply, two counts of being concerned in the supply of a Class B controlled drug and other related offences.

She is due to appear at Newry Magistrates Court today, Wednesday 6th July. As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

The charge relates to a search in the Newry area on Monday 4th July, where £250,000 in suspected illegal drugs, cash and counterfeit products were seized.
