In normal times the Young Farmers’ would be hosting an action-packed event calendar from stock judging to tug of war, but due to these unprecedented times events have had to move to an online platform or be cancelled.

Following the success of Spa YFC’s “#SpaKeepsFarming” campaign, the YFCU is running a similar campaign during Mental Health Awareness week. The campaign will see seven members from across Ulster taking over the YFCU Facebook and Instagram stories for the day, focusing on seven different topics of mental health such as; isolation, community to social media.

The idea behind the campaign is to show what members are up to during Covid-19 and getting members connecting with each other. Some members may feel very isolated and alone at the moment due to the time they are spending at home so hopefully this campaign will remind them that we are all in this together and support is always available.

There’s a chance for everyone to get involved as each day there will be a themed photo challenge so make sure to post a photo and use the #YFSeesYou.

This initial campaign is only just the start of the Young Farmer’s Sees You, a strategy to provide members mental health awareness, support and training over the incoming years.
