Young farmers showcase talents to audiences across the country

This year audiences were treated to thirteen performances across three evenings from Young Farmers’ Clubs across the province.

The Young Farmers arts festival sponsored by the NFU Charitable Trust is one of the Association’s most competitive competitions.

Each of the fourteen clubs entered performed a short drama piece which members skilfully wrote and produced themselves.

The category awards go to the following:

Most amusing moment: Randalstown YFC

Most imaginative theme: Finvoy YFC

Best choral piece: Kilraughts YFC

Best choreography: Kilraughts YFC

Most innovative musical moment: Garvagh YFC

Unfortunately, the five clubs, Spa YFC, Kilraughts YFC, Randalstown YFC, Lisnamurrican YFC and Finvoy YFC, who successfully made it through to perform at the arts festival gala at Millennium Forum, will have to wait until lockdown restrictions ease before the YFCU can hold the event and announce the outstanding performance.
