Carrie Mullane: Detectives release images of a vehicle and a boat that could be connected to the disappearance of the mother-of-four

Detectives investigating the disappearance and suspected murder of Carrie Mullane (Noonan) have today, Friday 6 November, issued a fresh appeal for information alongside images of a vehicle and boat, the movements of which they believe could be vital to their investigation.

Police have been searching for 39-year-old Carrie, a mother of four, who has been missing since her arrival in Enniskillen on 10 October.

She had travelled from Limerick to Enniskillen.

PSNI has been searching for her since being made aware of her disappearance on 29 October, however to date these intensive efforts have not established her whereabouts, nor her welfare.

Detectives believe that is very likely Carrie came to harm shortly after her arrival in Northern Ireland and now hold the view that establishing the movements of the campervan and boat (pictured) may provide crucial clues as to her whereabouts and provide a clearer picture of what

has happened to her.

Detective Superintendent Richard Thornton, from PSNI Serious Crime Branch, said: “Carrie is a much loved mother, sister and friend and is greatly missed by everyone who knows and loves her.

"She was last seen on 10 October, after travelling to Enniskillen with a man known to her.

"The last confirmed sighting we have of Carrie was when she travelled by taxi from Enniskillen bus station on Wellington Road to Trasna Park at approximately 9pm on that Saturday night.

"From this point on, her movements are unknown and this is where we hope that the public can help us.

"We are releasing images of a boat and a campervan today that we believe are linked to Carrie’s disappearance and suspected murder.

"Establishing the movements of these could yield vital evidence in the search for Carrie.

"We want to hear from anyone who may have sighted either the boat or the campervan between the late hours of 10 October and 1st of November, and from anyone who may have captured any relevant dashcam, doorbell or any other kind of footage.

"In particular I would like to appeal to boat owners on Upper Lough Erne who may have seen this boat on the lough in between these dates.

"Please take a good look at the images we are releasing today.

"Have you seen this campervan or this boat in and around the Enniskillen and Carrybridge areas? If you think you can help then please I urge you to get in touch with us. Any piece of information, no matter how small or insignificant you may think it to be, could prove key in bringing Carrie home and providing answers for her loved ones.

"As the investigation progresses we continue to explore a number of lines of enquiry and keep an open mind with regards to the circumstances, and whilst we are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support shown by the community, I ask that the public refrain from speculation

particularly online, while our enquiries continue.

"We have a large team of detectives from both local CID and the Major Investigation Team, supported by local uniform officers, who are working on this case and we are committed to continuing our search for Carrie for as long as it takes.”

"Anyone with information can call 101, quoting reference number 272 of 29/10/26.
