Dale Farm chief provides evidence to Efra committee
Nick Whelan, Group Chief Executive of Dale Farm, will provide oral evidence as part of the Brexit: Trade in Food inquiry led by the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee today (29th November).
In the session, the Committee will be questioning key producer organisations and trade bodies on how they will address the issues facing the dairy, poultry and pig industries.
Speaking on the topic, Nick Whelan said: “It is important to table the many challenges and opportunities that Brexit may present and encourage conversation amongst the agri-food industry to seek clarity around these.
“As the UK’s largest dairy cooperative, we are keen to explore all issues that may affect our farmer membership, so that we can best prepare for the times ahead.”
