Student scoops £1,500 Greenmount bursary

Nigel Young, HSBC agricultural relationship director, said: “As a key sector in Northern Ireland it is critical we support the future of agriculture through nurturing a pipeline of talent.

“The Greenmount Bursary Award is a brilliant initiative that brings together industry and academia to benefit aspiring agriculture students.

“We were wholly impressed with the calibre of submissions to HSBC but particularly with our winning student, Anna Millar’s, entry.

“As a former teacher at Greenmount College, I was more than happy to lend the bank’s backing to the bursary and support Northern Ireland’s farmers of the future.”
