The SDLP MLA said it was part of a drive to increase safety by Minister Nichola Mallon.
Mrs Kelly said she has worked with the local community to press for a lower speed limit to protect local children on the busy route.

I am delighted that we have been able to secure a new 20mph limit under my colleague Minister Nichola Mallon’s new scheme. I have no doubt that the launch of the reduced speed limits will enhance safety for the entire school community.


“Motorists in the area should make themselves aware of the new limit and slow down when passing. This is an excellent initiative that we’ve been working for a long time to secure. I’m glad that the SDLP has been able to deliver for our community.”
