Flying trade for stock at Swatragh

Another super entry of quality cattle on Monday, 16th May met a flying trade with a good ring of buyers with some very good prices. More quality stock is required to meet demand.

Heifers selling to £615 for 250kg (£2.46 per kg), with Bullocks selling to £1,045 for 472kgs (£2.21 per kg) with Fat Cows selling to £850.

Sheep: Another super entry of 835 sheep at Swatragh on Saturday, 14th May witnessed a very solid lamb trade. Several pens of lambs sold well in excess of £90 each to a top rate of £96.50. Ewes sold to £85.00, while Ewes and Lambs sold to £174.00.
