“Just to let everybody know, we have had a fire on site,” said a spokesperson for Ready Eggs on Wednesday afternoon.

“Everybody is safe and well.

“The main production facility has not been affected, we hope to be back up and running as soon as possible,” the spokesperson added.

A spokesperson for NIFRS said: “There is one appliance from Enniskillen and one Appliance from Lisnaskea Fire Station currently in attendance. Firefighters are in attendance at a fire in a large agricultural shed on Crom Road. The incident is ongoing.”

MP for Fermanagh and South Tyrone said no injuries had been reported.

“A number of @NIFRSOFFICIAL appliances are attending a fire at a factory outside #Lisnaskea,” tweeted Michelle Gildernew.

“No injuries reported so far.

“I hope that remains the case and that those trying to extinguish the fire are safe and successful,” she added.
