Celebrities are asking the UK to ‘stay at home’ and protect the NHS - watch the new short film here
A number of famous faces have banded together to urge the public to “stay at home” and help tackle the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Industry giants from the world of entertainment and sport, including the likes of Kate Garraway, Graham Norton, Angellica Bell and England international footballer Jesse Lingard, spread the stay at home message in a new short film.

In the video, TV and radio presenter Angellica Bell asks people to “please do stay at home if you can so we can be together soon”.
Shane Richie adds that “we are all in this together, so please, please stay at home”, and Gemma Collins calls for everyone to “stay home, save lives and protect our NHS”.
‘Please stay safe’
The video opens with Good Morning Presenter Kate Garraway saying: “Please stay safe, and stay at home if you can.”
Garraway recently announced that she is set to release a new book about the “raw and emotional story” of her husband, Derek Draper’s, fight against Covid-19. The book is titled The Power of Hope.

Draper remains in hospital after being admitted in March of 2020.
In a post on Instagram, Garraway wrote: “The pandemic is far from over and so is Derek’s journey, but I have decided to share our story and what’s helping to keep me going, as we all try to work out what our new futures will look like.
“I am really hoping that it will help you with all that you are going through.”

The film was made as part of the newspaper industry's “All Together” partnership with the UK government.
