Commercial entries invited for October Simmental sale
The Northern Ireland Simmental Cattle Breeders' Club is inviting commercial female entries for its annual autumn show and sale at Dungannon Farmers' Mart on Friday 7th October.
The commercial Simmental female sale will take place immediately after the club’s pedigree heifer auction. Sponsor for the event is Bimeda.
Prospective purchasers can be assured of quality and consistency, as all commercial females will be on-farm inspected prior to the event. The pedigree entry will be inspected by the club’s official veterinary surgeon prior to the sale.
Anyone interested in entering commercial cattle for the sale should contact committee member Nigel Glasgow on mobile 07711 747009. All entries must be tested (negative PI) and vaccinated for BVD.
Club members are reminded that the autumn sale is only open to pedigree females. Judge for the event is Jonny Hazelton (Ranfurly).
The closing date for pedigree and commercial entries is end of August. Further details from Dungannon Farmers’ Mart tel: 028 8772 2727.
