Community partnership brews as Barista Bar supports local football club
NI’s leading coffee to go brand, Barista Bar, has announced an all-new sponsorship with Lisburn Rovers Juniors FC.
Barista Bar, which marked its 10-year anniversary last year, recently sponsored the Lisburn Rovers Junior team kits as they travelled to the ESF Festival of Football in Ayr.
The sponsorship is part of Barista Bar’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the local community.
Barista Bar coffee-to-go is widely available in over 460 SPAR, EUROSPAR, ViVO and ViVOXTRA stores across Northern Ireland, many of which are often the hub of local communities and Barista Bar aims to continue these relationships, being part of many local initiatives and providing sponsorships for a number of local events and clubs.

Lisburn Rovers Juniors FC was established in 2017 and has continued to grow as a small community football club.
Gary Balmer has proudly coached the team since 2021, helping guide the boys through every stage of their development. Over the years, the team has progressed from green development football, to now competing at red level in the Premiership Division of the Lisburn & Castlereagh League.
The squad has also enjoyed great success in summer tournaments, most notably winning both the Antrim Tournament and the Michael Morris Tournament in 2024.
Earlier this month, the team travelled to Ayr to compete in the ESF Festival of Football, where 11 boys represented the club across eight matches over two days, with the team winning five of their matches.
Gary Balmer, Lisburn Rovers Juniors coach, commented, “As a small grassroots club with no major funding, support from local businesses is incredibly important to us. We are extremely grateful to Barista Bar for sponsoring our new tracksuits for the trip. Their generosity and support mean so much to the boys, their families, and the club as a whole.”
Keavy O’Mahony-Truesdale, national brand and business development manager at Barista Bar said: “Being rooted in community stores, it is so important to us at Barista Bar to continue to develop those relationships with shoppers, local community groups, charities and clubs.
“Investments such as this make a huge difference in grassroots sports and throughout local communities, as well as allowing us to give back to those who show us so much support.”
