C&M Tumilty’s in-calf heifer sale returns to Markethill
C&M Tumilty, Annaclone, Co. Down, will hold its sixth annual in-calf heifer sale at Markethill Mart on Thursday, 22nd October, at 7pm.
The sale features a carefully selected group of predominantly Limousin, Belgian Blue and Charolais-cross heifers, with many weighing over 800kg. All were inseminated in February to leading AI sires, including Powerful Proper, Elderberry Galahad, Brontemoor Salering and Sliabh Felim Sterling.
Around 80% are carrying heifer calves, with most due to calve in December.
All heifers have received a comprehensive vaccination programme and are eligible for export to both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, as well as the wider UK market.
