Book lovers can get their hands on a free story from McDonald’s this Christmas, as the fast food chain is giving away 500,000 children’s books.

Customers will be able to get a copy of The Christmas Adventures of Archie, which follows the tale of Archie the reindeer and his friends as they deliver their Christmas wishes to Santa.
500,000 free copies
The characters from the book all feature in the McDonald’s Christmas TV advert, which sees a little girl Ellie befriend the lovable animals.
McDonald’s is giving away 500,000 copies of the festive storybook for parents and youngsters to enjoy.

Those who miss out on getting hold of a physical copy of the book can download the audiobook or a Kindle version instead.
The audiobook is an MP3 file and has been narrated by former footballer Peter Crouch.
The audio versions are available to download for free online from the Reindeer Ready website, while the Kindle ebook can be downloaded from Amazon.

How to get a copy
To get your free copy of The Christmas Adventures of Archie, you simply need to visit the Reindeer Ready website and fill out an online form to order a physical version.
The form must be completed by 1 January 2020 and you will receive your Christmas story in the post within 30 days of filling it out.

The books are limited to one per household and you must be 18 years and over to order one.
And while there are half a million copies available, the books will be sent out on a first come, first served basis, so readers will have to move fast to snap one up.
