Cows and calves selling to £1700 at Lisnaskea Mart

A much larger entry on offer at Lisnaskea Livestock Sales on Tuesday 27th April sold to a good steady demand for all sorts.

This week cows and calves sold to £1700.

Store bullocks sold to £1090 for a 500kg Charolais (£218).

Med weights to £1030 for a 455kg Charolais (£226).

Weanling steers and bulls sold to £975 for 435kg Aberdeen Angus and £970 for a 390kg Aberdeen Angus (£249).

Smaller ones sold to £880 for a 300kg Charolais (£293) £760 for a 240kg Charolais (£317) and £685 for a 230kg Charolais (£298).

Weanling heifers sold to £970 for a 415kg Charolais (£234); 360kg Charolais to £860 x 2.

Smaller ones sold to £715 for a 240kg Limousin (£298) and £680 for a 230kg Limousin (£296).

Cows and calves: Newtownbutler producer cows with bull calves to £1700, £1400 and £1260 and cows with heifer calves to £1320, £1260, £1080 and £980.
