Food and Fitness goes virtual

As the Dairy Council for Northern Ireland (DCNI) makes its Food and Fitness primary school programme available online, more schools than ever before can avail of the popular teaching tool.

The Food and Fitness Programme was developed to help teach primary school children across Northern Ireland about the benefits of a balanced diet and an active lifestyle. In previous years, Food and Fitness was presented to children through an interactive lesson hosted by the DCNI Food and Fitness Team visiting schools.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, this year’s presentation is now online resulting in even more Key Stage Two pupils being able to enjoy and learn from the programme.
