HGV

The Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers (RABDF) is urging consumers to continue buying dairy products as normal following a few reports of farmers having to discard their milk due to HGV lorry driver shortages.

There has been on-going liaison over the past few days between Ireland's Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport, the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine and the Road Safety Authority about HGV transport operations associated with the delivery of animal fodder during the current fodder crisis.
