Chestnutt Animal Feeds, based at Stranocum in Co Antrim, is in the throes of completing a new store. The facility, which has a floor area of 17,000 square metres, will be used for the storage of bulk feeds and pallets. The fit-out of the new building featured the use of bunker walls, which can provide total flexibility when it comes to utilising the store. The precast units were manufactured by Ballymena-based Moore Concrete. Chestnutt’s operations director Norman McConaghie and Moore’s Nicola McAdam recently toured the new facility.
